Kanban does this though. You just move the case across to each section at the different stages. Adding other sections is creating more work for admin.

very much in agreement - our team would also find this very useful. Ideally, we'd also like to use Smartr as a one-stop system to avoid the need to track case progress elsewhere ie. spreadsheets.

It should be amendable to the firm though i.e. a case reaches decision in principle, so if the feature is turned on (make it optional) a task is created automatically, that the company can edit to ensure their process is ok.

This would be very useful if processes for workflow could be bespoke for each firm.
