Breakdown of monthly expenditure in Financial Overview screen
Please can a breakdown of the figures used to make up the 'expenditure monthly' on the Financial Overview screen be provided as it's very difficult to work out how it has been arrived at. Is the ground rent and service charge on a let property included???
It seems to be double counting pension contributions (as they are often already deducted at source, but may still be listed in the pensions section by the client).2 votes -
Populate employment history tab with data held in current employment if there is a notification of job change to avoid need for double keyin

when a customer notifies of a new job, offer the option to make previous employment captured to be recorded under employment history.

Acknowledgement document confirmation
It would be helpful to be able to download a hard copy of documents with confirmation of the date and time of the clients acknowledgement.

Any chance we can get a more detailed budget planner on Smartr? This is one thing compliance have noted is a little too simplistic

fixed term contract questions
fixed term contract questions - these ask how long, rather than when, which is not helpful as 'how long' will change each month and the Fact find will therefore be incorrect a month after it was completed.
It would be better to ask what date previous and current contract started and ended/is due to end, as those dates won't change.3 votes -
Savings/emergency fund
The customer fact find question reads 'Total amount of readily accessible savings (after deposit) for emergency fund'. On the fact find that we see it just reads 'savings', which is something completely different. Please update so we can see the question asked of the customer.

Change Mortgage info layout back to before
Not a fan of the new way the mortgages are laid out and we fill out the info (Mortgage size etc, sols). The previous layout system was much better, this new one flicks about too much between different aspects. No clear route

FACT FIND improovement
client's age/income etc is not coming up on suitability letter automatically, you can look in to this.
We often get more than 2 applicants' you must design an option to ad up to 4 applicants as minimum.
The Factfind notes- it helps if inword or pdf file rather a csv format.2 votes -
Filter notes to so can remove Automated notes
In the notes Section we need a filter so we can remove the automated notes to just the notes we write. This will make easier to get rid of the auto notes which we dont need to see.

ONS data
As most lenders now use ONS figures to pre-populate their application process would it not be a great move to pre-populate the expenditure tab. Other platforms have integrated this and it would really tally in from a compliance point of view

Search by case number
Advisers should be able to search for a case by the case reference number. This functionality is available to COR, so why not for advisers?

All to add another fee type or buyer type
We need another field where a fee/invoice date/paid date that can be linked to a client for a flat fee that isn't linked to either a mortgage or protection sales. We offer some mortgage-related services and referrals that involve a flat fee being paid and so we need this linked to the client, without having to put a mortgage/protection case live.

Premium frequency reporting
When running reports for Home Insurance, or Protection insurance that has been written, the report doesn not confirm whether the premium is paid monthly or Annually. For any home insurance policies that are written with a monthly premium we are required to report this to the FCA when completing our Reg Data returns. This would be extremely useful for the report to pick up whether the premium is paid monthly or annually.
