  1. Being able to amend the customers employment status once the customer or us has added it in. i.e customer inputs that they are employed and fills in all the other info but they are actually a self employed director. currently you have to delete the entry and redo it as self employed.

  2. Is it possible to implement in income an option whereby you could key the monthly total shown under gross on a customers payslip and then the system annualises the gross. I have had this feature with other systems I have used and it does save time.
Obviously we would still need the option to be able to type in a gross income as those for example paid 13 times a year would otherwise have an income shortfall shown, so my suggestion is the addition of a box where the monthly income could be keyed and then calculated and populated to…

  3. Add a "Current Employment" and "Yes/ No" tick box and an "End Date" in the current employment section so that when a client changes employment the previous details are automatically moved to the previous Employment section.

This means that we can save time by not having to add the details to employment history and then delete from Current history and will also avoid potential to lose the data if this is done the wrong way round.

  4. We have blocked the ability to put in the gross monthly amount and the system works out the calculated the annual gross Salary.
Most of the time we get single payslips, so having to combine all the amounts to see the annual salary is more work than doing one payslip and seeing they make 5000 Gross , so the system works out its annual salary amount from this is 60000.

  6. 'Partnership' be added to the 'Self Employment Type Income' as an option.

As a company we deal with Accountants quite a lot and are already receiving enquiries with Partnership Income (Not LLP).

With the tax benefits of Limited Companies being diminished with the increase of corporation tax and tax on dividends, we feel there will be more business choosing to trade this way in the future.

It would be more beneficial to key the income as a Partnership rather than a Sole Trader as it is a true reflection of how they trade and the % of partnership.
