Remortgage leads should NOT include everything from the completed mortgage
You have recently changed it so that the remortgage lead created now populates every single field from the completed mortgage. This includes dates the mortgage was submitted and completed, the proc fees, the notes on the case etc. Most of these fields will never be the same for the remortgage. It is also going to make it very difficult when reporting as the submitted date and completed date will be populated. It is extremely poor data management and mis use of the system. Only data that is unlikely to change should be pre populated.

Currently when you complete a mortgage it automatically pre populates every single field of the remortgage lead with the completed information. this includes the submission date, the exchange date, the completion date as well as any fees (proc and client) etc. The date fields and fees fields should not be prepopulated. It is a compliance nightmare and now you have provided reporting it makes it extremely difficult to report on. It is an accident waiting to happen. Our Compliance company are not happy with how the tool does this and have made recommendations to consider its viability.
