Clients Marketing preferences
This is the way of the world, we need to know each client permissions for further marketing. We all get consent to their data for the current transaction, I'm sure we all ask for future contact / marketing permission.
On the Case Summary / or start of the fact find its imperative to eyeball that clients contact preferences to ensure we only contact them to their consented permissions.
have an option to select preferred method of contact for the client - Phone / Email / Text / Instant messaging . This should be an option since GDPR in May 2018 if capturing clients detail.

With consumer duty looming to be able to log clients preferences for marketing purposes is critical to ensure we are effectively using Smartr for client contact and only contacting the clients as per their wishes / preferences

marketing consent - need a tick box to consent to future marketing so that reports can be produced on all clients happy to receive any future marketing.

I completely agree. Our privacy notice asks how the client wants to be contacted in the future and also asks if we can contact them about other products and services. There should be somewhere we can add this data to to allow us to pull off a marketing report. As 365 feeds into Mailchimp, it seems completely at odds that this isn't a feature.
