Multiple products on a mortgage
We need the ability to have multiple products on a mortgage. 3 separate parts to the mortgage, I am going to Port and Raise.
I think that on the existing mortgage account, and for the new mortgage we should be given the option to add additional mortgage parts; this means that we could then track the different product expiry dates after and during porting applications.
We need to be able to add more than one mortgage to a single property address.
For current/new mortgages which have multi parts with different rates and expiry dates - would like the ability to enter the total loan, and then enter each part seperately.

When a mortgage has multiple parts to the loa, like porting and topping up and the amounts are on different rates, and you can put in seperate rates, monthly payments and end dates. Currently have to create individual tabs for each rate that a customer has duplicating all the information just so we can get the rate reminders, and our commission numbers right.

This is major! We should absolutely be able to add more than one mortgage to a property. Especially with porting and top ups, lots of people have multiple parts to their mortgage and the only work around is creating multiple mortgage tiles which is a serious waste of time!

This is so, so important. I cant believe this has not been actioned since it was recommended in 2020! It not the ability to add multiply products to a mortgage. We need the ability to add multiple mortgage to a property address.

It would be great to allow multiple parts to be included onto a fact find or case, rather than having to create a new fact find/case for a different part to a mortgage. In some instances, we have 4 parts to a mortgage, it seems to be a waste of our time to have to duplicate this numerous times.

I agree, this really should be a basic feature - not a potential enhancement.

Sub accounts are needed on existing mortgage tabs. when will this be available or how do we get around it in the meantime?

Hello, I hope you are doing well.
We got a new client who came to us for a remortgage of his residential property his current mortgage has two subaccounts, one of them is a repayment method and the other is interest only. Would be great to be able to add both of the subaccounts in the existing property on Smartr. Currently, I can add only one mortgage subaccount for the same property which is a shame as some cases might be more complex. So now I have to create two of the same existing properties so I can put all the info on the client's current mortgage situation, which is not ideal.
Thank you.

Yes when trying to complete a porting case the current fact find does not give you the option to input the current mortgage you are porting then the new borrowing separately.
This is an issue as they are likely to be on different rates, monthly payment etc.
So because of this it means the info you are inputting is inaccurate giving false LTV's or if you enter the total combined borrowing then this is also incorrect as it doesn't show what rate is applicable to what balance etc.

On the Add Mortgage section under General information would it be possible for us to add multiple properties. ie. where commercial finance is offered on multiple securities.
