  2. When an admin assistant sends an email, system generated or not include a footer that mentions that the email was sent by the admin on behalf of the adviser.

    E.g.
    Many thanks,
    John Smith (admin assistant) on behalf of your adviser Jane Doe

From a paraplanning point of view it would be much quicker and easier if we could see the gross and net income on the front screen without having to click into the employment all the time and scroll. All that blank space underneath “add current employment” is completely wasted when it could contain necessary snapshot information.

    Also, it would also make more sense for the Smartr logo on left hand side, and my name and role, to be at the bottom (I know who you are and I know who I am!) so we don’t have to keep scrolling down…

  6. It would be very helpful to have the case ID on the homepages/cases so we can select the correct case rather than searching through the drop downs, especially when the clients have various properties and protection cover.

  8. There are two business protection cover types that we deal with that are not included on the drop down list in the benefits section: Executive Income Protection, Business Private Medical Insurance.

    On the business product options there is a further option that needs to be added which is called executive income protection. It is an income protection set-up though a limited company for employees. I quote for this a lot and needed to add one the other day but had to put it down as personal income protection, but it isn’t that product.

  10. Employer benefits within the protection section as existing policy. When using the Protection tab/section currently there is no field for adding employer benefits such as death in service or sick pay. There is a section to add this in the client fact find under income however it would be useful if this could be synchronised to a new field under existing policies in the protection section so one can have an overview of client’s total existing cover all in one place.

  12. fixed term contract questions - these ask how long, rather than when, which is not helpful as 'how long' will change each month and the Fact find will therefore be incorrect a month after it was completed.
    It would be better to ask what date previous and current contract started and ended/is due to end, as those dates won't change.

  14. As most lenders now use ONS figures to pre-populate their application process would it not be a great move to pre-populate the expenditure tab. Other platforms have integrated this and it would really tally in from a compliance point of view

  15. Build in an Affordabilty Assessment into Smartr so I can complete the fact find and at the end of it will be instantly able to provide the client with how much lenders will lend them based off there circumstances. I personally use Mortgage Broker Tools as I find it the most comprehensive and accurate therefore end up dual keying the information which I would like to avoid

  17. Would it be possible to add the Completion date to the list of categories shown in the case list/drop down bar at the top of the Case summary screen. This would be helpful when you have clients with multiple cases live and historic. It would make it a lot clearer.
