We have blocked the ability to put in the gross monthly amount and the system works out the calculated the annual gross Salary.
We have blocked the ability to put in the gross monthly amount and the system works out the calculated the annual gross Salary.
Most of the time we get single payslips, so having to combine all the amounts to see the annual salary is more work than doing one payslip and seeing they make 5000 Gross , so the system works out its annual salary amount from this is 60000.1 vote -

Allow advisers to update client's employment status
Being able to amend the customers employment status once the customer or us has added it in. i.e customer inputs that they are employed and fills in all the other info but they are actually a self employed director. currently you have to delete the entry and redo it as self employed.

ADD Box that allows advisor to key gross from payslip that system then annualises
Is it possible to implement in income an option whereby you could key the monthly total shown under gross on a customers payslip and then the system annualises the gross. I have had this feature with other systems I have used and it does save time.
Obviously we would still need the option to be able to type in a gross income as those for example paid 13 times a year would otherwise have an income shortfall shown, so my suggestion is the addition of a box where the monthly income could be keyed and then calculated and populated to…2 votes -
Credit Commitments Lender Name
Enable freetyping of the company name linked to the commitment. It is very common for the name not be an existing Lender or Provider and it not efficient to scroll down to Other and Free type from there. It is also not evident that Other is an option and allows freetyping so may lead to incorrect names being recorded

Early Repayment Charge (ERC) visibility in Existing Properties
When recording an existing mortgage on Existing Properties and it is a remortgage you are not prompted to record the Early Repayment Charge which is important for compliance purposes.
The question "Is this mortgage to be repaid before completion of new mortgage (select no if you are remortgaging this property)?" should be reworded to remove the text in brackets so the ERC is recorded in all scenarios4 votes -
Fact find - Gender
we can offer people a different box other than male or female. Ideally we need it to give them the choice and just have a box with previous name to signal if there has been a gender change? Ive got a meeting with compliance in a few weeks and it will come up again no doubt

Fact find logs
When we receive our data extract, it has all of the logs from all fact finds ever entered or change in Smartr365 for that applicant. Is it possible to have this log in Smartr365, or have an auto download in pre offer processing? This is so if the fact find changes when the clients some back , we dont loose the original copy if we have not saved it the first time.

Multiple FactFind Applicants
Just a quick request, would it be possible to update Smartr in the next release so that we can add more than two people on the fact find.
With affordability being a big issue, now more and more mortgages have three of four applicants now. Currently I must add the third and fourth applicant’s details in the notes section.128 votes -

Fact Find - send a copy of fact find to Document store upon Completed
Could we have a copy of the fact find download into the Document store so a record of the case prior to a new case being made can be stored. Can the naming convention include the date as well?
This would help with regards to compliance when they are reviewing completed cases as they go through advisor records

Display dependent age not years still dependent
Show age for dependents rather than number of years 'still dependent'. There is no logic for the latter when lenders only ask the former. This section is confusing at first glance when trying to submit an application

Automatically move Employment details From Existing to History on Employment change
Add a "Current Employment" and "Yes/ No" tick box and an "End Date" in the current employment section so that when a client changes employment the previous details are automatically moved to the previous Employment section.
This means that we can save time by not having to add the details to employment history and then delete from Current history and will also avoid potential to lose the data if this is done the wrong way round.

Streamline the whole thing
TOO MANY QUESTIONS THAT AREN'T MANDATORY OR RELEVANT TO MANY CLIENTS. (Adverse questions could be grouped into 2-3 questions, vulnerable client questions could be hidden from view with a couple of generic questions to begin with) Mandatory questions should be highlighted throughout.
