Budget planner updates required
The current budget planner is not comprehensive enough to gain an accurate picture of a clients spending. This forces us to group various expenditures leading to confusion when transposing to affordability platforms and applications.
As an example, could this not mirror the commitment options within Affordability Brain?

Ability to search the notes section
It would be extremely useful to search the notes by word/combination of words and also to be able to jump from top to bottom or to jump to a certain date.

Client notes in Fact Find
Free format Soft Fact Finding section for Fact Find
I have always been told that soft fact finding is as important as hard fact finding. it would be really useful to have a free format text section as part of the fact find. (This information is not readily locatable in the notes section, which would be the other obvious place to put it).

ADD Box that allows advisor to key gross from payslip that system then annualises
Is it possible to implement in income an option whereby you could key the monthly total shown under gross on a customers payslip and then the system annualises the gross. I have had this feature with other systems I have used and it does save time.
Obviously we would still need the option to be able to type in a gross income as those for example paid 13 times a year would otherwise have an income shortfall shown, so my suggestion is the addition of a box where the monthly income could be keyed and then calculated and populated to…4 votes -
Fact find logs
When we receive our data extract, it has all of the logs from all fact finds ever entered or change in Smartr365 for that applicant. Is it possible to have this log in Smartr365, or have an auto download in pre offer processing? This is so if the fact find changes when the clients some back , we dont loose the original copy if we have not saved it the first time.

Add 2nd client to existing properties
Where a client adds their existing property themselves, there doesn't seem to be an option (for them or me) to make it a joint property. Please could this be rectified.

Expenditure to be more broken down more details ( same as lenders)
Expenditure to be more broken down more details (same as lenders) and should also cover things like if i have added in a existing life cover this should push into the expenditure as they have said i have this policy and am paying a premium on this. Same with if I have 3 BTL properties i get the choice to add this into my clients expenditure and this also doesn't show on the figure only in the key and net amount.

Buyer type needs to be identified for each applicant
The system only has one buyer type per case, whereas a FTB might be buying a property jointly with someone who is not a FTB. Lenders ask the question for each applicant.
Also, a purchase assumes that the applicants have an existing mortgage. That is not always the case and this causes wrong information to be provided to lenders. This has resulted in me having to re-key an application.3 votes -

Allow applicant 1 to add their own applicant 2 so they can fill in Fact find information.

Settlement status be added to the Fact Find- personal details- visa option
an settlement status be added to the Fact Find? Currently it gives the option to select visa, but the adviser then has to go back to the client to ask their settlement status. E.g. if client selects anything other than British Citizen, a required field comes up for them to select settlement status.

Factfind needs to be streamlined. Can we have the ability to turn off more questions in the factfind to make it easier for the client
There seems to be far too many questions within the factfind that lenders simply do not require such as passport and driving licence details. If these details were ever required this would had to be verified by the adviser anyway.
I have had feedback from a number of clients stating how exhausting filling out the factfind is. I have just gone through this myself after only sending the important parts of the fact find and I agree.
Some parts of the customers fact find are also too adviser focused and uses language that a customer would be unlikely to understand.

marketing preferences
can there please be an option for no contact/no permission. At present, it's difficult to tell whether the clients have not given permission or whether someone has simply not completed the section.

Foreign Nationals - Permanent Rights to Reside
Currently, only some nationalities prompt the question regarding indefinite leave to remain. Please can the question be prompted for all foreign nationals?

A client will often choose a solicitor that we as a broker will never deal with again. Please could there be the ability to add solicitors details to the fact find without have to save their details

Fact Find Progress Display
On the summery screen have a dial going up to 100% to show how much of the FF has been completed/or at least had some information input.
I realise this will require all sections of the fact find to have a "yes" or "no" tick box, which would be helpful anyway. It has already been suggested for example to have "no" toggle for dependants and credit history, so the system can see that the questions have not just been missed.2 votes
