  1. Amend order of Relationship type and move Sone and Daughter to top as the most common options
    Also allow user to freetype in field which will display matched relationship types as the user types i.e. type "dau" and daughter could be selected

  2. we can offer people a different box other than male or female. Ideally we need it to give them the choice and just have a box with previous name to signal if there has been a gender change? Ive got a meeting with compliance in a few weeks and it will come up again no doubt

  3. Having a button on the Fact Find where he client can press no British passport, or no driving license. As if they leave it blank we don't know why , if they don't have on or if they just didn't fill it in.

  4. Needs to include Record whether a client has ever smoked, plus the month/year they last smoked as solution builder now needs this information

  5. A sole trader often doesn't use an accountant and self assesses. In these cases there is no option other than to ender an accountant. Would be helpful if there is a box to tick for self assessment that then doesn't need accountants info completed.

  6. There seems to be far too many questions within the factfind that lenders simply do not require such as passport and driving licence details. If these details were ever required this would had to be verified by the adviser anyway.

    I have had feedback from a number of clients stating how exhausting filling out the factfind is. I have just gone through this myself after only sending the important parts of the fact find and I agree.

    Some parts of the customers fact find are also too adviser focused and uses language that a customer would be unlikely to understand.

  8. Free format Soft Fact Finding section for Fact Find

    I have always been told that soft fact finding is as important as hard fact finding. it would be really useful to have a free format text section as part of the fact find. (This information is not readily locatable in the notes section, which would be the other obvious place to put it).

  9. Is it possible to implement in income an option whereby you could key the monthly total shown under gross on a customers payslip and then the system annualises the gross. I have had this feature with other systems I have used and it does save time.
    Obviously we would still need the option to be able to type in a gross income as those for example paid 13 times a year would otherwise have an income shortfall shown, so my suggestion is the addition of a box where the monthly income could be keyed and then calculated and populated to…

  10. When we receive our data extract, it has all of the logs from all fact finds ever entered or change in Smartr365 for that applicant. Is it possible to have this log in Smartr365, or have an auto download in pre offer processing? This is so if the fact find changes when the clients some back , we dont loose the original copy if we have not saved it the first time.

  13. It should be an option to not have the vulnerable client fields in the Fact Find, as some clients may not deem themselves as vulnerable but as a firm following a process we have to have it on the system that they are.

  15. an settlement status be added to the Fact Find? Currently it gives the option to select visa, but the adviser then has to go back to the client to ask their settlement status. E.g. if client selects anything other than British Citizen, a required field comes up for them to select settlement status.

Expenditure to be more broken down more details (same as lenders) and should also cover things like if i have added in a existing life cover this should push into the expenditure as they have said i have this policy and am paying a premium on this. Same with if I have 3 BTL properties i get the choice to add this into my clients expenditure and this also doesn't show on the figure only in the key and net amount.

  19. The system only has one buyer type per case, whereas a FTB might be buying a property jointly with someone who is not a FTB. Lenders ask the question for each applicant.
    Also, a purchase assumes that the applicants have an existing mortgage. That is not always the case and this causes wrong information to be provided to lenders. This has resulted in me having to re-key an application.
